The Additive Manufacturing team at University of Limerick works collaboratively with companies, R&D groups, and researchers. We provide 3D model expertise and printing services such as file conversion support, material swatch samples, costing analysis, rapid turnover, and customer support.

Dr. Leonard O'Sullivan
3DPrint Manager
Leonard is a senior lecturer in the Department of Design and Manufacturing technology. His research interests include Industry 4.0 approaches to Additive Manufacturing for product development and production.
Donal Ryan
Additive Manufacturing Agent
Donal Ryan is a senior technicial officer in the Department of Design and Manufacturing Technology in UL. His skills include model fabrication, prototying, and high quality finishing.
Bob Whelan
Additive Manufacturing Agent
Bob Whelan is a technical officer in the Deparment of Design and Manufacturing Technology. He is a graduate of Product Design & Technology and has skills in 3D modelling, soft modelling, circuit design, and prototyping.
